What We Do
Be Empowered offers a youth mentoring program for girls ages 10-15. These programs provides participants with a positive and safe setting where they have an opportunity to practice self help, self care, and self love. They will also gain resources that increase connections among peers and supportive adults.
Our Young Adult Program provides support to females 16-21 years by providing guidance while they seek education, employment, and self-efficacy. We help complete the FAFSA and other financial aid applications. Workshops on college applications, resume building, soft skills, and the importance of communication and self advocacy.
We are passionate about assisting young ladies:
• Living in poverty
• Experience physical/emotional trauma.
• Exhibit risky behaviors that lead to juvenile delinquency.
• Endangerment of dropping out of school.
• Living separate from parents or simply having a tough time navigating adolescence.

Mission
EMPOWERING GENERATIONAL CHANGE

At Be Empowered, we believe education is key to success. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. We accomplish this goal by providing educational support in teen pregnancy prevention, health and wellness resources, as well as providing wellness workshops for community organizations working with women and girls.
